Cedar Rapids man arrested for August crash that killed motorcyclist

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Police arrested a Cedar Rapids man Wednesday in connection with a crash that killed a motorcyclist on Aug. 21.

According to Cedar Rapids police, the accident occurred at the intersection of 6th Street SW and Wilson Avenue SW when an SUV turned left in front of an oncoming motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 44-year-old Nicholas Cox, was taken to hospital where he later died.
