The start of the semester was disappointing for some students when they discovered that WashU's dining hall had reduced its hours and raised food prices, leaving some students without adequate meals. After a series of changes the dining hall implemented in response to student complaints, some students are now finding it easier to find healthy and affordable meals.

Football dominates Carroll 35-7 in home opener

With their 35-7 victory over Carroll on September 21, the Bears improved their record to 2-0 and continued their winning streak against their conference rival in the opening game of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW).
