KSP investigates police chase and possible shooting incident

BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – Kentucky State Police are investigating a chase and possible shots fired in Warren County Wednesday night.

According to traffic reports, a police chase through Bowling Green ended on Willoughby Lane near Corta Way.

Ronnie Ward, spokesman for the Bowling Green Police Department, says there are warrants out for the suspect's arrest.

According to Ward, police pursued the vehicle until about 5 p.m. before calling off the operation.

According to traffic data, the Kentucky State Police and Warren County Sheriff's Office continued the pursuit on Willoughby Lane.

Witnesses on the scene told WNKY News 40 that the vehicle crashed and shots may have been fired.

The Bowling Green Police Department, Kentucky State Police and Warren County Sheriff's Office are on scene.
