19-year-old dies after motorcycle accident in Lewiston

LEWISTON, Idaho – A 19-year-old was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Lewiston area.

On September 25, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Lewiston Police and Fire/Paramedics said they were called to Bryden Canyon Road near the 8th Street overpass following a motorcycle accident.

Lewison police said 19-year-old Caidon Colvin of Clarkston was riding a motorcycle westbound through Bryden Canyon when he lost control and went off the road on the north side. Colvin was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries, according to police. Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The Lewiston Police Major Collision Investigation Team is investigating the incident. Police ask anyone with information about the accident to contact Sergeant Craig Roberts or Officer Logan Fletcher at 746-0171.
