19-year-old dies in motorcycle accident in Bryden Canyon near 8th Street Overpass

LEWISTON, IDAHO (KLEW) — Update: This morning around 11:45 a.m., Lewiston Police and Fire Departments, as well as a paramedic team, were called to Bryden Canyon near the 8th Street Overpass for a motorcycle accident.

The rider of the motorcycle was riding a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6 westbound through Bryden Canyon when he lost control and veered off the road on the north side.

Caidon Colvin, 19, of Clarkston, was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center but was unable to continue due to his injuries. Colvin was wearing a helmet.

Lewiston Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to contact Sergeant Criag Roberts or Officer Logan Fletcher at 208-746-0171.
