Shooting is being investigated by Delaware State Police


Bridgeville, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening in Bridgeville.

At approximately 10:55 p.m., officers arrived in the 4000 block of Baker Road in Bridgeville after shots were fired. Upon arrival, they found that an unknown suspect from an unknown vehicle had fired an unknown number of shots, striking a home and an outbuilding. No injuries were reported and the case remains under investigation.

The Delaware State Police 4th Troop Criminal Investigation Division is leading the investigation and is asking anyone with information to contact Detective H. Lingo at (302) 752-3864.   • Richmond Police ask public for help in identifying assault suspect

    RICHMOND, VA - Richmond Police Detectives have asked the public for help in identifying a suspect involved in a July assault case. Authorities have released photos of the person connected to the incident.

    The assault allegedly occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 14. An off-duty Richmond Police Department (RPD) officer working near a local business in the 1200 block of East Cary Street was notified of the incident.

    Investigators have identified the person in the photos as a suspect in the case. The suspect is accused of assaulting another adult male at the facility.

    Richmond Police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity of this individual to contact Detective T. Wilson of the First Precinct at (804) 646-0672.   • New York Police do not give up efforts to identify the 2011 John Doe

    New York, NY – The Gilgo Beach Homicide Task Force is asking the public for help in identifying a homicide victim named Asian Doe. The victim's remains were discovered on April 4, 2011 on Ocean Parkway in Gilgo Beach, New York.

    Authorities are particularly appealing to the Asian community and anyone who may have information related to the case. Individuals can provide tips to Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or by email or through a mobile app, which can be done in the local language.
