Kaukauna woman arrested for property damage

A Kaukauna woman was arrested for damaging new homes.

Kaukauna Police announced that on Tuesday (September 24)th), they made an arrest in connection with reports of damage to newly built homes between 2021 and 2024.

During the police investigation, it emerged that the suspect had broken into newly built houses and turned on the water taps, causing significant water damage.

She was also found to have unsuccessfully attempted to break into other homes to do the same thing. In total, the suspect caused over $230,000 in damage.

Four counts of criminal damage and four counts of burglary were forwarded to the Outagamie County District Attorney's Office against the Kaukauna woman.

Police also know the suspect has entered numerous other unidentified homes and are asking local contractors, builders and homeowners to contact Detective Kohl at 920-766-6333 if they believe additional damage has gone unreported.
