Fremont man arrested for allegedly holding a gun during a DUI incident near Lincoln

A 30-year-old man was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said a Lincoln man traveling with his 1-year-old daughter called 911 Wednesday morning to report that another driver hauling livestock pointed a gun at him during a road rage incident near Highway 77 and Saltillo Road, south of Lincoln. The 33-year-old man said the truck driver pointed a teal handgun at him, authorities said. Officers stopped the truck a few minutes later near Highway 77 and West O Street and found a teal handgun in the back pocket of the driver's seat, authorities said. Nathan Dorries, of Fremont, was arrested on charges of making terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by an unauthorized person and use of a firearm to commit a crime. According to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, a 30-year-old man was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident.

Investigators said a Lincoln man traveling with his 1-year-old daughter called 911 Wednesday morning to report that another driver hauling livestock pointed a gun at him during an incident of driving aggression near Highway 77 and Saltillo Road, south of Lincoln.

According to authorities, the 33-year-old man said the truck driver pointed a blue-green gun at him.

Minutes later, officers stopped the truck near Highway 77 and West O Street and found a teal handgun in the back pocket of the driver's seat, authorities said.

Nathan Dorries of Fremont was arrested for making terroristic threats, possession of a firearm by an unauthorized person and use of a firearm to commit a crime.
