P Diddy accused of rape over 'adulterated drinks'

Thalia Graves, A 53-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit in federal court alleging that Sean “Diddy” Combs held her naked and “brutally attacked” her in his home. Bad Boy Records Studio in New York City in the summer of 2001.

In the lawsuit, Thalia Graves alleges that at age 25, while she was having a relationship with one of Combs' co-workers, she was tricked into meeting with Combs and his bodyguard, Joseph “Big Joe” Sherman, under the guise of discussing her boyfriend's job.

She claims that during the car ride, she was offered a drink that was likely tampered with, causing a temporary loss of consciousness, as detailed in the 26-page complaint filed in Manhattan federal court. Graves claims that Combs and Sherman picked her up from her mother's residence in Queens and stated their intention to discuss her boyfriend's position at Bad Boy. She claims that Combs offered her a glass of wine in the vehicle, after which she felt physically incapacitated and unable to exit the car. She then claims that Combs led her into his car. When she woke up, Thalia claims, she was naked and her hands were tied behind her back, causing her to scream for help. She claims that Sean Combs “P Diddy” sexually harassed and raped her several times.

The complaint states that “both men remained unmoved by the plaintiff's cries for help throughout the ordeal.” Thalia claims that she has not fully recovered from the traumatic experience and requires extensive psychological treatment. She also continues to suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. She refrained from reporting the incident out of fear because Combs and Sherman allegedly “repeatedly and explicitly” threatened to destroy her life. She admitted that she considered suicide when she found out on November 27, 2023 that Combs and Sherman had recorded the assault and shared the footage with several men.

Thalia, accompanied by her lawyer Gloria Allredpublicly announced the lawsuit against Combs and Sherman during a press conference in Allred's office. Wearing a white jacket, Thalia sat next to Allred and emotionally described the trauma she believes Combs and Sherman inflicted on her. “The injuries I sustained during the attack have had a lasting impact on my body and have resulted in ongoing health issues and complications.”
