Foo Fighters cancel Soundside Music Festival after cheating scandal with Dave Grohl

Sad times like these.

The Foo Fighters have canceled their planned appearance at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

“Foo Fighters will no longer be performing at Soundside Music Festival this weekend. Please visit the festival website for more information,” the band wrote in an Instagram statement on Thursday.

The group was scheduled to headline the second day of the festival on Sunday.

On Thursday, the band was listed as one of the artists alongside Jack White, Greta Van Fleet, Bleachers, Norah Jones and Teddy Swims. In the late afternoon, the Foo Fighters were removed from the festival's official website.

Other musicians performing on Saturday include the Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes, Boys II Men and Grace Potter.

The news comes after Grohl revealed that he cheated on his wife Jordyn Blum and had a daughter out of wedlock.

“I recently became a father to a daughter born outside of my marriage,” Grohl wrote on Instagram on September 10. “I plan to be a loving and supportive father to her. I love my wife and children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

Earlier this month, an insider exclusively revealed to The Washington Post that some believe Blum may have known about his infidelity long before his confession, but perhaps not to the extent that he cheated on her.

The source noted that close friends “feel sorry” for the actress and called her a “kind, wonderful woman.”

Other insiders told People: “Dave's flirtatious behavior was a hindrance in their marriage. It hurt Jordyn.”

“We keep reading about how heartbroken everyone is because Dave was supposed to be the 'good guy,' the rock star who didn't have to do the rock star stuff,” the source claimed. “And people are crazy about the guy, but he has a rock star side too.”

Grohl and Blum already have three daughters together: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

In exclusive photos obtained by The Post, Blum was spotted leaving a tennis lesson in Los Angeles on September 17 without her wedding ring. She was with the couple's tennis instructor, Chris Crabb, at the time.

Following Grohl's bombshell news, speculation circulated that the musician was jealous of Blum and Crabb's professional relationship. However, a source denied these claims.

“There is nothing going on with her tennis coach,” a source told The Post.

In fact, Crabb is married and posted a video of the two together on the court in 2022. He tied the knot with his wife Olya in August 2023.
