Foo Fighters to cancel Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport – NBC Connecticut

The Foo Fighters will no longer perform at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport this weekend.

The band was scheduled to be one of the headliners at the festival, which takes place at Seaside Park on Saturday and Sunday, and they were scheduled to perform on Sunday.

“Unfortunately, Foo Fighters have announced that they will no longer be performing this weekend,” festival organizers said in a statement.

A post on the band's Facebook page stated: “The Foo Fighters will no longer be performing at Soundside Music Festival this weekend” and directed fans to the festival's website for more information.

Soundside organizers said Jack White and Greta Van Fleet will join the lineup on Sunday.

Sunday day tickets are still available. The lineup also includes Bleachers, Norah Jones, Teddy Swims and more.

Noah Kahan, Goo Goo Dolls, Fleet Foxes, Boyz II Men and other acts will perform at the festival.
