“Foo Fighters cancel soundside gig amid Dave Grohl baby news”

The Foo Fighters have pulled out of a planned festival appearance, weeks after frontman Dave Grohl revealed he recently gave birth to a baby outside of his marriage.

Earlier this month, Grohl, 55, shared a statement on his Instagram account telling his fans that he had given birth to a “new baby daughter.”

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” wrote Grohl, who has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003. “We are grateful for your consideration for all of the children involved while we can move forward together.”

While the couple, who are parents to daughters Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, have not publicly commented on the status of their marriage, multiple sources told PEOPLE that Blum has been dating Grohl “for some time.” I knew about the baby news.

“She was shocked when she found out… Her friends are like family and they rallied around her,” a Blum friend said.
