Driver injured in accident on K-10; Eastbound lane closed for about 1 mile – The Lawrence Times

According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a truck was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a crash on Kansas Highway 10 Thursday afternoon.

According to DGSO, the accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday on K-10 between 27th Street and Iowa Street. It was just a vehicle. It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.

The eastbound lane of the highway was closed between 27th Street and about a mile west of Iowa Street as of 3:15 p.m.

“Fire units are clearing fuel in the area. Eastbound traffic is advised to find an alternative route this afternoon,” the DGSO said.

The red marker on the map below shows the approximate location of the crash.
