Van carries passengers involved in the crash at 98th Street and Cottage Grove in Pullman, CFD and paramedics on scene

CHICAGO (WLS) – Rescue workers were at the scene of the accident in Chicago's Pullman neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.

Chopper 7 was over the scene at 98th and Cottage Grove Thursday afternoon. The accident apparently only involved a van, which looked like it had crashed into a tree.

There were several ambulances and firefighters from Chicago on scene. Apparently several passengers were sitting on the sidewalk next to the van and were being looked after by emergency services. At least one passenger could also be seen in the van.

The circumstances of the crash were initially unknown. It was also not immediately clear whether anyone was injured or how severe the injuries were.
