Two men and minors charged in fatal shooting in Anaheim

Two men were behind bars Thursday accused of killing a 26-year-old man in Anaheim in August.

Daidar Martinez, 33, and Oscar Aguilar, 30, are charged with special circumstances murder for shooting from a vehicle and gang activity. They also face sentencing enhancements for a gang-related shooting that resulted in serious bodily injury and gang activity. A juvenile male was also arrested in connection with the shooting, Anaheim police Sgt. said Matt Sutter.

The shooting happened about 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the 900 block of North Siesta Street, Sutter said. The defendants are accused of killing 26-year-old Christopher Monge of Anaheim, Sutter said.
