5 injured after crash in downtown Phoenix

PHOENIX – Five people were injured in an accident in central Phoenix, the city's fire department said.

The Phoenix Fire Department responded to an accident near 19th Avenue and Roosevelt Street. According to the fire department, five people were taken to local hospitals.

One of the patients is an adult in extremely critical condition. The four remaining patients were hospitalized in serious but critical condition, three of whom were teenagers ages 14 to 17, Fire said.
