TV5 knows who the suspect is, but we are withholding his name until he is formally charged in court on Friday. He is scheduled to appear in the Bay County courtroom at 1:30 p.m

As TV5 reported, police executed a search warrant at 110 Elm Street in Bay City on the morning of Wednesday, September 25th. After arresting the suspect for open murder, investigators remained at the address for approximately 11 hours.

Stilwell's arms and legs were discovered at the Golson Boat Launch on Wednesday, September 18th.

Last Thursday, Stilwell's family members found his car in Defoe Park.

A week later, on the same day as the arrest, police also announced that Stilwell's head and torso were found at an undisclosed location in Bay City. They also said there are no other suspects in this case.

Defoe Park is a short drive from 110 Elm Street, about two and a half minutes, and Golson Boat Launch is a relatively short drive from the Elm Street home across the Saginaw River.

TV5 checked with the director of the Bay City Department of Public Safety, who said there was nothing new to report on the case Thursday.

TV5 will be at the hearing on Friday.
