According to a police report obtained by SPIN.ph, Amores and one Lee Cacalda got into a heated argument after a basketball game in Barangay Salac, during which Amores allegedly uttered the words “dun tayo magsuntukan.”

Cacalda was then followed by Amores in Barangay Maytalang Uno in Lumban, Laguna, with Amores shooting the victim with an unknown firearm after both got out on their respective motorcycles.

Amores then fled towards Pagsanjan, Laguna.

A CCTV footage of the incident also showed that the shooting took place in broad daylight on the national highway.

According to a PBA source, NorthPort management was informed of the incident.
