THE REGION COULD SEE UP TO 25 INCHES OF RAIN TOMORROW NIGHT. YOUR BIGGEST CONCERN RIGHT NOW IS the flooding of the Yadkin River and surrounding waterways, as 6 inches of flowing water can move a vehicle and sweep it off the road. IN STANDING WATER. Every time you drive through there is a risk of flooding, which will cause the vehicle's engine to stall in the middle of the flood water, leaving you unable to escape. A woman has been arrested following an incident at a Triad school, according to officials with the Surry County Sheriff's Office. At approximately 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Maria Rodriguez was arrested after officials say she violated school policy and school resource officer orders to leave the North Surry High School campus. A woman has been arrested following an incident at a Triad school, according to officials with the Surry County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, Maria Rodriguez was arrested after officials say she failed to comply with school administrators and school resource officer requests to leave the North Surry High School campus.
