No injuries after the driver loses control in an accident and destroys the home's gas meter

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Lincoln Police are investigating a crash in which an SUV with no license plates destroyed a home's gas meter.

The accident occurred just after 10 p.m. at an alley entrance north of 26th and W

No one was injured in the accident, including the driver. A 10/11 reporter said he saw someone being examined by a paramedic, but that person was not taken to the hospital.

The residents of the home were evacuated while Lincoln Fire and Rescue made sure the home was habitable again. This came after Black Hills technicians worked to stop a leak from the home's gas meter.

Officials are investigating how the accident occurred. It is unclear whether there will be citations.
