Cocaine, Meth, Xanax, Gun Seized and Suspect Arrested in Human Trafficking Investigation

On Thursday, September 26, 2024, Beaumont Police Department SWAT and Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 3800 block of Waco Street following a lengthy drug trafficking investigation.

During the search, investigators discovered suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax and a handgun. As a result, 42-year-old Sterling Johnson was arrested and taken to the Jefferson County Jail. He is charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
