Three murder charges after fatal shooting

Three men have been charged with murder after a 31-year-old was fatally shot in an east London park.

Joshua McLean was shot dead in Weavers Fields, Bethnal Green, at around 8:30pm BST on August 6

The men, aged in their 30s, were arrested on Wednesday and are due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court to face formal charges.

Five other people arrested on suspicion of murder – men aged between 17 and 56 – have now been released on bail.

Mr McLean's family has been informed.

The Metropolitan Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact police.
