Devara plot and Jr NTR's role

In this latest project, Jr NTR plays a dual role, portraying both Devara and Varadha, key players in a plot set in a coastal region where power struggles and shifting loyalties dictate the plot. Saif Ali Khan plays Bhaira, a Kushti (wrestling) master whose dominance is challenged by Jr NTR's characters.

Adding additional emotional complexity is Janhvi Kapoor in the role of Thangam, a village girl who is involved in a love story with Jr NTR's son. Her character brings a softer, more personal dimension to the intense, action-driven narrative, while the son, in contrast to his father's strong-willed nature, may be forced to engage in ways that reflect his father's challenges.

Devara saw strong advance bookings

The film reunites Jr NTR with director Koratala Siva, her previous collaboration Janatha Garage been a great success.
