Murder suspect arrested in triple shooting in Colerain Twp, Florida

The video comes from earlier reporting

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) — The suspect in a deadly triple shooting at a Colerain Township bar has been arrested in Central Florida.

Samuel M. Jordan III, 42, is being held at the Orange County Jail in Orlando as a fugitive from justice. Jail records also show that there is a murder warrant against him.

It is not yet clear when he will appear in court or whether he will fight extradition to Hamilton County.

Colerain Township police announced last week that they had issued a murder warrant for Jordan in the Aug. 22 shooting at the Springdale Road office.

Christopher Potter, 41, was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, two other people – a man and a woman – were also shot and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the bar's social media account, gunfire occurred when the club hosted a karaoke night with free food during a birthday party.

Police said they believe the shooting was the result of an argument.
