Boulder police are investigating a fatal vehicle-pedestrian accident on Broadway

BOULDER, Colo. — A fatal crash closed northbound Broadway in Boulder Friday morning.

The Boulder Police Department (BPD) said it is investigating a fatal crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian at Broadway and Ash Avenue.

That's next to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder.

BPD said at 6 a.m. Friday that northbound Broadway – or State Highway 93 – was closed at Ash Avenue toward the University of Colorado campus. Police asked the public to avoid the area until further notice.
