The problems pile up, leading to one of the lowest Kitchen Cops scores in months

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – This week's lowest score comes from Morgan County. The A&M Cowboys Convenience Store at Highway 36 & Kyle Road in Hartselle. It received a rating of 64 – one of the lowest ratings we've ever seen on Kitchen Cops. However, it looks like the low score is the result of several small but serious violations stacked on top of each other. Inspectors found that drink nozzles were moldy, cheese and pizza were at the wrong temperature and toxic chemicals were not stored properly. There was also an issue with one sink not having hot water and another sink lacking soap and paper towels. The inspection also discovered cookies in the freezer that had cross-contamination from frozen ice cream.

Elsewhere in Morgan County, The Old Cookstove on Reeder Road in Danville got an 82 because the ham was the wrong temperature and the can opener was dirty.
