Okumura will fight at Lucha Apocalypto in Chicago on November 9th

Major League Wrestling (“MLW”) was announced today Okumura will compete Lucha Apocalyptolive on YouTube from Cicero Stadium in Chicago on Saturday, November 9th.

Okumura, known as “Luchador Japonés,” is originally from Osaka but now makes his home in Mexico and brings a unique blend of Japanese and Mexican wrestling styles to the ring.

Okumura debuted in 1994, traveling throughout Japan and competing at the highest levels, from All Japan Pro Wrestling to FMW before moving to CMLL.

With an illustrious career spanning two decades in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), Okumura has established himself as a seasoned veteran and a force to be reckoned with. During his tenure in Mexico's most prestigious wrestling organization, Okumura achieved a significant milestone by winning the CMLL World Trios Championship alongside Hiroshi Tanahashi and Taichi, cementing his reputation.

As a representative of CMLL, Okumura is now embarking on a new journey in MLW.

The duo, who frequently teamed with Satoshi Kojima in MLW as the formidable “CozyMAX” team, won the MLW World Tag Team Championship earlier this year.

Okumura now wants to make a big statement at Lucha Apocalypto in Chicago.
