Louisiana man accused of crashing naked at Winn Dixie

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of causing a car accident at the Winn Dixie in Destrehan on Wednesday evening. Officers responded to the store around 7 p.m. after reports of a naked man in the parking lot. The naked man was identified as Eulogio Diaz, 24, of Destrehan. When officers arrived on scene, they were advised that there had been a two-car accident involving a truck and Diaz. The driver of the truck that was hit by Diaz said he was trying to leave the parking lot when he was hit. This man's truck was overturned and he was injured while trying to climb out of a broken window. Deputies said surveillance video showed Diaz intentionally hit the truck driver and impairment is suspected. Officials say Diaz was behaving erratically and was taken to an area hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. Once released from the hospital, Diaz will be arrested and faces an outstanding warrant for charges related to drunk driving, aggravated assault and aggravated property damage.
