Kim Richards recently took mental control of an incident at a hotel

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Kim Richards was reportedly hospitalized earlier this month after an incident at a Hilton hotel.

In early September, a reportedly incoherent Richards, 60, refused to leave one of the L.A.-area hotels owned by half-sister Kathy Hilton's family and the police were called, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Richards, who has long struggled with alcoholism on and off screen and the resulting legal problems, was subsequently taken to the 5150 Psychiatric Detention Center and transported to a hospital. It is unclear how long she was hospitalized and when she was released.

News of the incident came to light on Friday after a confrontation with little sister and former co-star Kyle.

TMZ reports that the famous family tried to shut Kim out to help her get back on her feet.

That plan went awry on Wednesday when Kim showed up at Kyle's home, where she had previously been staying, and the 55-year-old reality star asked authorities for help in removing Kim.
