Cowboys fan beats Giants fan in heated MetLife Stadium fight

Fans sitting nearby apparently tried to intervene, but they couldn't stop the Cowboys fan, who was wearing a vintage Troy Aikman jersey, from inflicting some brutal blows.

The Giants fan appeared dazed and needed help from another Big Blue supporter to stay upright.

It was an early harbinger for hometown fans, as their team lost to Dallas for the 14th time in 15 tries – and their 13th straight loss to Cowboys quarterback Dan Prescott.

The game marked the 10th time in 12 years that the teams met in a primetime matchup, with the Giants on the wrong side of those meetings with a record of 1-9.

In the last edition, the Giants failed to reach the end zone as Joseph's five field goals accounted for the entire score.

Making matters worse, star freshman Malik Nabers left the game late in the fourth quarter with a concussion and landed hard as he fell out of bounds while trying to make a catch.

The loss left the Giants with a disappointing 1-3 record as they failed to follow up their road loss to the Browns in Week 3.
