A domestic incident leads to criminal charges against Cheyenne Transient

A 44-year-old Cheyenne transient is charged with a felony following a domestic incident.

According to arrest records, a Laramie County sheriff's deputy was dispatched to a domestic incident shortly before 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 21st and had probable cause to arrest Angel Elisabeth King.

Officers contacted King, admired her and interviewed her, whereupon she was told she was under arrest.

King then reportedly suffered a “seizure” and was taken by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where medical staff told officers that King was fine and was OK.

King charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor

King was subsequently booked into the Laramie County Detention Center and later charged with willful ill-treatment of a vulnerable adult, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $10,000, or both, and recording the Name of the perpetrator in the central registration; unlawful entry into an inhabited building – attempted or committed assault or battery, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison; and interfering with a peace officer – not a violation, a misdemeanor.

King made an initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, September 24, with her bond set at $7,500 cash and her preliminary hearing scheduled for Friday, October 4, at 9:45 a.m was

King served with arrest warrant

On Wednesday, September 25, King was served a Laramie County District Court arrest warrant while in jail for failure to comply with an original charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Judge Steven K. Sharpe signed the arrest warrant on Tuesday, September 24th.

According to the Wyoming Sexual Offender Registry, King was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child on March 6, 2017.
