The Raiders are losing two star players in Sunday's game against the Browns

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Raiders host the Browns on Sunday without two of their key players.

Pass rusher Maxx Crosby and wide receiver Davante Adams will both miss Sunday's game at Allegiant Stadium, Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce told reporters Friday.

Crosby is dealing with an ankle injury suffered at the end of the Raiders' comeback win over the Ravens two weeks ago, while Adams injured his hamstring during practice on Thursday.

Adams leads the Raiders with 209 receiving yards and is tied for the team lead with rookie Brock Bowers with 18 receiving yards.

Crosby, known for his relentlessness and playing every snap, has three sacks this season and 30 sacks since 2022. He didn't register a sack in the Raiders' loss to the Panthers last week and, after playing every defensive snap in the first two weeks, played 82% of the team's defensive snaps.

The Raiders are also without tight end Michael Mayer, their No. 2 tight end behind Bowers, as well as linebacker Divine Deablo and right tackle Thayer Munford.

The Browns will be missing some key players. Head coach Kevin Stefanski dominated tight end David Njoku and tackled Jedrick Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin and running back Pierre Strong Jr. on Friday morning.
