Traffic stop leads to drug offenses in Felton

FELTON, Del. – A Dover man was arrested after a traffic stop in Felton earlier this week.

Felton police reportedly stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on North DuPont Highway just after 12 p.m. The investigation revealed the vehicle was uninsured and a subsequent search discovered 380.7 grams of suspected marijuana in a bag on the passenger side running board.

The driver, identified as 31-year-old Pierra Foreman, was subsequently arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery/Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Level 1 Quantity, and Possession/Use of Marijuana, not for personal use, charged with use, lack of insurance and other traffic-related costs.

Foreman was released on $9,500 unsecured bail.
