The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death near Jordanelle as a possible road rage incident

The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office said a possible road rage incident may be related to the discovery of a deceased body near Jordanelle.

At approximately 11 a.m. Thursday, the Wasatch County 911 Center received a report of a possible deceased person near the Ross Creek Trailhead north of Jordanelle Reservoir.

Officers then located a deceased adult male outside of a vehicle on the side of the road.

The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office said the preliminary investigation indicates a possible road rage incident occurred prior to the death, possibly around 11 p.m. the night before.

Investigators are looking for a second vehicle, which they believe could be a Jeep Gladiator or a Jeep Rubicon, possibly with front end damage.

“The sooner you address the situation, the better,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Anyone with information should call the sheriff's office at (435) 654-1411.
