According to authorities, police were called to South San Francisco High School Friday afternoon to investigate a possible knife attack that led to the arrest of three people.

Police said they received the first call about the incident at the school in the 400 block of B St. just after noon Friday. Officials had imposed a “secure campus lockdown” following the incident, but police said this has since been lifted and classes have resumed.

Aerial footage showed a South San Francisco police cruiser parked in front of the school. Students could also be seen walking around the campus and outside the school premises.

Police did not provide any specific information about the incident or the reasons for detaining the people involved. According to South SF Police, there is currently no threat to the public.

Authorities did not provide further information about the nature of the injury sustained in the incident or details about the three people arrested.
