RCPD searching for suspect involved in hit-and-run accident

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – Rapid City Police are searching for a suspect involved in a hit-and-run accident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries on Thursday evening, September 26.

It happened at the intersection of East North Street and Pine Street in North Rapid around 9 p.m.

When police arrived, they found an unresponsive pedestrian on the ground. Witnesses interviewed by police say the pedestrian was hit by a light-colored sedan.
