Police Reports: 6 People Arrested on Drug Charges in Gowanda Following Task Force Investigation | Allegany County

GOWANDA – Six people were charged with drug-related offenses Thursday evening, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office reported Friday.

Cedric Cobb, 38, of Buffalo; Michael Guadagno, 63, of Gowanda; and Michael Priest, 46, of South Dayton, were each charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, at 10:40 p.m.

The charges stem from a search warrant at 85 Torrance Place executed by the Southern Tier Regional Task Force after an investigation of the residence revealed it was being used to sell illegal drugs. While executing the search warrant, police reported allegedly finding a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, paraphernalia and U.S. dollars.

Cobb, Guadagno and Priest were all arraigned in Persia City Court. Cobb was reportedly held without bail, while Guadagno and Priest were released on their own recognizance.

In another case, Rose Seeley, 52, of Gowanda; Lawrence Fox, 42, of California; and Donald Pfaffenbach, 43, of South Dayton, were each charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both Class A misdemeanors.

The charges stem from a search warrant at 20 Frederick St. executed by the Southern Tier Regional Task Force after an investigation of the residence revealed it was being used to sell illegal drugs. While executing the search warrant, police reported they allegedly found a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and paraphernalia, both Class A misdemeanors.

Seeley, Fox and Pfaffenbach were all processed and released with an appearance ticket.

The task force was assisted in both cases by the Sheriff's Office Special Operations Team, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Gowanda Police Department. The Chautauqua County Special Response Team assisted in the investigation at 20 Frederick St.

  • LITTLE VALLEY – Melissa K. Goodwill, 42, of Little Valley, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, on an active warrant from the City of Salamanca Court. The goodwill was referred to the Salamanca police for further legal proceedings.

New York State Police

  • CARROLLTON — Gregory J. Siegmyer, 48, of Mount Jewitt, Pennsylvania, was charged at 2:45 a.m. Thursday with third-degree unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, an unclassified misdemeanor. Siegmyer was processed and referred to another agency.
  • BOLIVAR — Dana R. McDonald, 43, of Bolivar, was charged at 8:59 a.m. Thursday with resisting arrest, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all Class A misdemeanors. The McDonald's status was not reported.
  • Machias — Dylan C. Irvin, 25, of Bradford, Pennsylvania, was charged at 10:38 a.m. Thursday with second-degree criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor. The charges stem from an incident reported on July 2nd. Irvin was reportedly detained
  • ANGEL ROOT – A single-vehicle accident was reported on County Road 15 at 8:43 p.m. Thursday. The driver was identified as Thomas J. Spengleer, 57, of Frewsburg. One person was reported injured.
  • BELMONT — Leroy S. Billings, 26, of Belmont, was charged Thursday at 11:37 p.m. with first-offense driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or more, both unclassified misdemeanors. The accounts were processed and an entry ticket was issued.
