The iconic '90s sitcom star looks unrecognizable with his slim figure and scruffy beard – but can you guess who it is?

A legendary '90s sitcom star looked unrecognizable with an unkempt beard during a low-key outing in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actor is no stranger to the world of television – he appeared in a hit NBC series that aired for a total of nine seasons, with the final episode premiering in May 1998.

The star has received numerous award nominations throughout his Hollywood career, winning the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series 30 years earlier.

He showed off his chic frame as he strolled through a parking lot during the day out – after celebrating his 65th birthday on Monday, September 23.

But can you guess who it is?

The actor is none other than Jason Alexander, who notably played the character of George Costanza in the NBC series “Seinfeld”.

The show, created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, also starred Jerry, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine) and Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer).

Alexander stepped out in LA wearing black pants and a plaid shirt that buttoned up the front.

He paired the ensemble with a dark purple vest that was left open and also slipped on a pair of comfortable black sneakers.

Jason completed the outfit by wearing a statement silver watch on his left wrist and wearing black-rimmed glasses.

The “Pretty Woman” actor enjoyed a coffee break and was seen leaving Starbucks while carrying a warm drink and a snack in his other hand.

On Monday this week, Alexander celebrated his 65th birthday and previously addressed the topic of aging.

During an interview for The Thread a few months earlier in June, the star expressed, “I get more jealous of time as I get older because I know there's less of it.”

“There's nothing left for me to do, although there are a lot of things I'd like to do,” he continued.

Jason later added, “These days I have more and more opportunities to be helpful, to take the overwhelming and disproportionate blessings I've had in my life and somehow pay it back and pay it forward.”

“The only thing I'm hungry for is that I want to see things.” I want to see my grandson as an adult. I want to know what he thinks – what he wants to do with his life.”

Alexander continued: “I'm curious to see my friends to the end and my family to the end and be there in any way I can…”

In addition to his appearances on “Seinfeld,” Jason has also taken on other roles over the decades, such as in “Pretty Woman” alongside Julia Roberts and Richard Gere and in “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Back in May, his former co-star Michael Richards revealed that Alexander had threatened to quit during Seinfeld's third season because he wasn't getting enough screen time.

In his memoir Entrances And Exits, Richards expressed that Jason did not appear in an episode entitled “The Pen”, and although he had “equanimously” accepted not appearing in the episode, he had also been upset.

“Jason threatens to quit after learning he’s not in the episode either. “He’s angry,” Michael wrote, according to Page Six.

“Jason came into the show with the most confidence of anyone. He had won a Tony Award on the New York stage, no mean achievement, and until the chart for The Pen came out he assumed that Seinfeld was a buddy show starring him and Jerry.

Richards added: “But this business creates both massive egos and incredible insecurity, and this episode is one of those ego-shattering wake-up calls.”

Michael then remembered that he was not co-written in an episode titled “The Chinese Restaurant” that aired during the show's second season.

“I sit at the table without saying a single word, and that’s because not a single word was written for Kramer.”

And in late November last year, Alexander shared his thoughts on rumors of a Seinfeld reboot in an interview with Extra.

“There is only one reason for this rumor,” the actor told the outlet. “Apparently, at the end of a stand-up thing, [Jerry] said, “Larry [David] and I'm thinking of something.'

“Good for you. I don't know anything about it… Nobody called me. Apparently they don't need George and maybe they don't need Elaine either because Julia [Louis-Dreyfus] and I said, “Do you know anything about it?” I don’t know anything about it.”

He added: “And I just spoke to Michael.” [Richards] the other day and I don't think he knew anything about it.'

Opening night will take place later this year on November 9th at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts.

Jason will play the role of Tevye in the production, and other cast members set to join him include Valerie Perri, Rachel Ravel, Alanna J. Smith, Emerson Glick, Cameron Mabie, Remy Laifer and Ron Orbach.

Lonny Price – who will direct the revival – said in a statement: “Fiddler On The Roof is one of the undeniable masterpieces of the American musical, and it has been a dream of mine to direct the show.”

“And the idea that I get to work with my old friend Jason Alexander on this extraordinary piece is truly a dream come true.” I can't think of any other actor who could play Tevye better, and I believe he has the role ( and will redefine the show for a new generation!'
