Winners and losers of Moicano vs Saint Denis card

The UFC is at the Accor Arena in Paris, France tonight to take part in the UFC Paris fight card. Saturday's UFC Fight Night card features two crucial matchups at the top of the card. In the main event, Renato Moicano meets Benoit Saint Denis in the lightweight division. Meanwhile, in the co-main event, Nassourdine Imavov and Brendan Allen meet in the middleweight division. The main card for UFC Paris will stream on ESPN+ following the prelims on the same streaming site.

Moicano joins UFC Paris as the No. 11 fighter in the official UFC lightweight rankings. As for Saint Denis, he enters Saturday ranked No. 12 in the 155-pound weight class.

Imavov enters the upcoming fight card as the No. 4 ranked fighter in the UFC's middleweight weight class. Allen is now the No. 8 ranked fighter at 185 pounds.

Moicano (19-5-1) has a 5-1 record dating back to June 2021. Moicano's only defeat in his last six appearances was a setback in the March 2022 five-round decision to former champion Rafael dos Anjos. Moicano is coming off a TKO win over Jalin Turner in April 2024.

Saint Denis (13-2-0-1) is also 5-1 in his last six UFC fights. He is coming off a surprising knockout loss to former UFC interim lightweight titleholder Dustin Poirier. His five previous victories all came via finish. Saint Denis's most recent win was a knockout against Matt Frevola in November 2023.

Imavov (14-4-0-1) is 2-0-1-1 in his last four fights, losing to Sean Strickland in a short-notice light heavyweight bout in 2022 and coming off a no-contest result in a clash with Chris Curtis of heads and then defeating Roman Dolidze and Jared Cannonier in 2024.

Allen (24-5) is on a seven-fight winning streak dating back to February 2022. In his last outing, Allen defeated Chris Curtis via split decision. This fight took place in April of this year

UFC Paris results, winners and losers will be updated live on the pay-per-view card tonight.

UFC Paris winner

Jacqueline Cavalcanti: Jacqueline Cavalcanti used pressure and octagon control to tear Nora Cornolle to pieces in the women's bantamweight bout. Cavalcanti mixed up her targets and techniques, using her size and reach to frustrate Cornolle throughout the 15-minute fight. Cavalcanti had her opponent on the back foot for most of the fight, keeping her on the fence as she outran Cornolle.

With the win, Cavalcanti is 3-0 in the UFC.

Chris Duncan: Chris Duncan bounced back from a submission loss to Manuel Torres in February with a submission of his own on Saturday, choking Bolaji Oki unconscious in the first round of their lightweight match.

Duncan didn't have the striking skills or power of Oki, but his guillotine choke, which he applied as the two went to the mat after an Oki takedown, was on point.

Duncan had to inform the referee that Oki was out.

UFC Paris loser

Nora Cornolle: Nora Cornolle could not withstand the pressure and length of Jacqueline Cavalcanti. She seemed to want to take the fight to the decisive point, but her inability to get her off the fence prevented her from executing her game plan. Cornolle, who was 2-0 in the UFC heading into UFC Paris, needs to work on getting over the fence.

Bolaji Oki: Bolaji Oki was aggressive against Chris Duncan. Ultimately, this aggression proved to be his undoing. Oki's attack was decent, he showed good power and high power, but he was a headhunter.

Duncan was prepared for Oki's takedown attempt, but Oki was unprepared for Duncan's guillotine, a submission hold that ended Oki's lights out early in the first round.
