Ailin Perez taps Zheleznyakova and twerks in her face

Ailin Perez knew she had a big advantage on the ground over Darya Zheleznyakova – and she proved it at UFC Fight Night 243.

Perez (11-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) defeated Zheleznyakova (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) with an arm triangle choke at 3:52 of Round 1. The women's bantamweight bout was part of UFC Preliminaries Fight Night 243 card at the Accor Arena in Paris.

It didn't take long for Perez to get the win, but Zheleznyakova was able to break free. Zheleznyakova caught a kick from Perez and knocked her to the ground, but ultimately decided to let Perez back away. Perez shot again, but Zheleznyakova stuffed the takedown. The third time was the charm for Perez, who finally managed to bring Zheleznyakova down. Perez established dominance on the ground and switched to an arm-triangle choke to finish Zheleznyakov.

Perez kept things going with her signature twerk (via X):

Perez scored her first octagon finish against Zheleznyakova. The 29-year-old Argentine fighter has now won four times in a row.
