Road rage incident escalates into shooting in Montgomery County

Maryland State Police are investigating a suspected road rage incident that ended in gunfire.

Police are appealing for any dashcam footage of Friday night's road rage shooting in Montgomery County on northbound Interstate 270 near Shady Grove Road around 7:30 p.m

The vehicle of interest is a dark colored sedan with Maryland license plates. Police believe two Hispanic men between the ages of 20 and 25 lived there.

Soldiers from Rockville Barrack were alerted to the incident just before 8 p.m. on September 28th. The other vehicle involved, a white Dodge Durango, was struck multiple times by gunfire. The driver remained uninjured. Police believe the shooting was due to road rage.
