Saturday schedule at Kansas Speedway for the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity Series

KANSAS CITY, Kansas. – The Xfinity Series opens its playoffs Saturday at Kansas Speedway and Cup teams will use the day to prepare for Sunday's race.

Xfinity teams will practice, qualify and race on Saturday. The Cup teams train and qualify for the race on Sunday.

Justin Allgaier enters Saturday's Xfinity race as the playoff standings leader. Riley Herbst holds the final transfer spot in the round.

The Weather Underground forecast The start of Cup qualifying is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 79 degrees and no chance of rain. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, a high of 82 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
