The Los Angeles Rams' Week 3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers came at a price. The organization was fined $100,000 after 49ers wideout Brandon Aiyuk was pushed to the sideline during Los Angeles' 27-24 win in its final game.

In particular, cornerback Derion Kendrick and safety Kamren Kinchens were fined for their involvement in the altercation.

The Rams-49ers rivalry has heated up since the Rams moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles in 2016. The rivalry reached new levels in 2021 when the Rams defeated the 49ers on the road in that year's NFC Championship game.

This is the second time in as many days that Aiyuk has found himself in the middle of a news story. A video of Aiyuk went viral on Friday fly into a rage at practice after 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan asked him to put on the correct shorts. Aiyuk, who recently signed a $120 million contract extension, has had a difficult start to the 2024 season. His conditioning level was questionable after holding out throughout training camp.
