Suspects are at large after shooting at an SUV during a speeding incident in Rockville on I-270: State Police

An investigation was launched in Montgomery County after a road rage shooting was reported overnight in Rockville on I-270, state police said.

Investigators issued an alert on Saturday, September 28th as they search for possible dashcam footage filmed on the highway in the area of ​​Shady Grove Road on Friday evening between approximately 7:20 and 7:40 p.m.

Investigators believe a white Dodge Durango was hit by gunfire multiple times during the road rage incident, but the driver was uninjured.

It later emerged that the shooting was allegedly due to road rage.

The suspect vehicle was described only as a dark-colored sedan with Maryland license plates, and the suspects were described as two Hispanic men between the ages of 20 and 25.
