A fiery accident closes I-65 near the Kennedy Bridge

Interstate 65 south near the Kennedy Bridge is closed for a second time Saturday as crews work to extinguish a fire accident. The Louisville Metropolitan Police Department said a tractor-trailer was on fire in the area. They didn't say what caused the fire. TRIMARC cameras show firefighters and other first responders are on scene to get things under control. LMPD said there is no information on any injuries at this time. There is no estimated time as to how long I-65 will be shut down again. That section of I-65 opened just before 5 p.m. Saturday after being closed since 9:39 a.m. due to another accident involving a semi-truck.
