UFC Fight Night Paris results: bonus winners and highlights

UFC Fight Night Paris was an exciting event with a disappointing conclusion. In the main event, Renato Moicano scored a TKO victory over Benoit Saint-Denis, much to the chagrin of the French fans.

After a brutal first round, Saint-Denis was covered in blood and both eyes were swollen thanks to Moicano's wrestling and ground and pound. Amazingly, Saint-Denis escaped the attack in the first round and came back to win the second frame.

Nevertheless, the Octagon side doctor called off the fight when Saint-Denis failed an eye test before the start of the third round.

In the co-main event, Nassourdine Imavov won an important middleweight bout. After a weak first round in which Allen controlled the Octagon, Imavov responded by winning the final two rounds to solidify his top-five ranking in the middleweight division.

Here's a look at all the bonus winners from Paris.

Here's a look at the results. All statements are in bold and highlights are included.

  • Renato Moicano defeated. Benoît Saint Denis via TKO at 5:00 in round 3
  • Nassourdine Imavov defeated. Brendan Allen via unanimous decision (29-28×3)
  • William Gomis defeats Joanderson Brito via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
  • Bryan Battle defeated Kevin Jousset by TKO at 3:47 of round 2

Herb Dean's stoppage may have come a little late in this game, as Battle unleashed an all-out attack on Jousset and failed to respond for 10 seconds. In any case, Battle wins and continues his rise.

  • Morgan Charriere defeated Gabriel Miranda by KO at 0:27 in round 2

Charriere has star potential, and he showed some of it in his knockout finish against Miranda. Charriere is as athletically gifted as anyone and he showed his explosive power

  • Fares Ziam defeated Matt Frevola by KO at 2:59 of round 3

You'll be hard-pressed to find a more brutal knockout with a knee from the standing-backward transition. Frevola didn't protect Ziam's knee and he paid for it.
