7-year-old girl killed and sister arrested in apparent stabbing: Taylor Police

TAYLOR, MI – Police arrested a 13-year-old Taylor girl Saturday in connection with the fatal stabbing of her 7-year-old sister.

Authorities said they responded to a domestic violence call near the area of ​​Telegraph and Chestnut just after 1 p.m. First responders found the seven-year-old who “suffered from stab wounds” and took her to a local hospital.

According to police, the girl later died from her injuries.

“Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim’s injuries were allegedly caused by her 13-year-old sister during the domestic dispute,” Taylor police said. “The suspect was taken into custody without incident.”
