Colorado star Travis Hunter continues to assert himself as the most valuable player in college football, contributing to the Buffs' high-level success on both offense and defense. What he has accomplished as both a wide receiver and cornerback continues to amaze college football fans around the world. After his final highlight-reel interception, he struck the iconic Heisman Trophy pose.

Hunter had already made a splash on offense in Saturday's game against UCF with a touchdown reception in the first quarter. Then, as UCF tried to get back into the game, Hunter threw a thrilling interception on UCF quarterback KJ Jefferson in the second half.

Hunter's Heisman Trophy stock has continued to rise in recent weeks as he not only logged an impressive amount of snaps with his time at wide receiver and cornerback, but also backed it up with his performance. It was the second time this season that Hunter recorded a touchdown reception and an interception in the same game. This makes him only the second player this century to record multiple games with a receiving touchdown and an interception (Aqib Talib, 2007).

Nuggets like this will only further fuel the fire behind his Heisman Trophy campaign. Winning the Heisman Trophy as a non-quarterback requires a unique ability to stand out from the other contenders. For example, during Michigan's Heisman Trophy season, Desmond Howard was active in multiple phases of the game at both wide receiver and special teams. Like Hunter, Howard also crowned one of his highlights with the iconic stiff-arm pose.
