Preliminary investigations into the apartment revealed that an adult male suspect had some kind of explosive device with him.

There was also a woman and children in the house.

While officers were on scene during the incident, an officer-involved shooting occurred.

As a result, the adult male suspect died.

Three officers were taken to hospital as a precaution.
