Chloe Fineman Reveals Who She's Most Looking Forward to on 'SNL' (Exclusive)

Chloe Fineman has a lot to look forward to Saturday Night Liveis the coming season!

On Monday, September 23, PEOPLE caught up with Fineman at the premiere of her new sci-fi film Megalopolis – starring Aubrey Plaza, Adam Driver and Grace VanderWaal – and the 36-year-old comedian revealed that the SNL The cast is back together in Studio 8H, preparing for the upcoming 50th season, which Fineman says will be full of surprises.

“I’m excited,” she says. “We're going to the 50th with a big bang! I think our special guests for the political theme will be announced soon.”

“I'm really excited and yeah, it was like a good back-to-school vibe,” adds Fineman about returning to work.

You and them SNL The cast has quite a busy season ahead, with several notable guests already announced, including Jean Smart, Jelly Roll, Nate Bargatze, Coldplay, Ariana Grande, Michael Keaton and Billie Eilish. However, the actress plans to work with some music legends and upcoming talents.

“I mean, Stevie Nicks and Ariana Grande [as guests] is crazy,” she tells PEOPLE.

“I definitely had a Chappell Roan summer, like we all did,” says Fineman. “So I thought, I can't believe I could be in the same building singing 'Pink Pony Club,' you know? So we'll see. Hopefully that will happen.”

Roan and Smart will be newcomers SNL Stage. However, you won't be alone, there SNL announced that three new comedians would be joining the show: Emil Wakim, Ashley Padilla and Jane Wickline.

Last week at the Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program luncheon, Fineman offered some insight and advice to people attending the show for the first time.

“Have fun,” she advised, before recounting her experience. “Yeah…You're kind of thrown into the fire.”

There were several more cast reshuffles for the upcoming season: Punkie Johnson, Chloe Troast and Molly Kearney were stepped down this season, while Marcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker were promoted to the main cast after two years respectively as featured players.
